Paladen
Paladen, established in 1979 in Southern California, is a hobby kennel with fine Pointers and German Shorthaired Pointers. Special attention is given to breeding healthy, loving companions for hunting and competition. Over the years more than 75 titles have been completed with our stock, including Hunting Test (Junior through Master levels), obedience, and/or bench championships (American & Foreign). We were indeed fortunate to import and own Ch. Galema Harvester, Junior Hunter (Crookrise breeding). At two-years-of-age he was awarded Winners Dog at the American Pointer Club National Specialty (and again at the next day’s Supported Entry). He is the sire of an All-breed Best in Show winner, and of an APC National Specialty Best Opp. to Best of Breed Winner (from the Bred-by-Exhibitor class). His granddaughter was the winner of the Canadian Pointer Club National Specialty Show Winners Bitch and Sweepstakes from the puppy class. Several other Specialty Show, Futurity, and Sweepstake class winners descend from him, and he is still producing well for us. Puppies and champion stud services (OFA/CERF/Hunting Test titled) are available occasionally. Our puppies are usually black & white, or orange & white. Although we hope that our dogs will be exhibited in some avenue of competition (in order to help promote this wonderful breed), inquiries from caring, permanent pet homes are always welcome.
